Wetland mitigation often involves restoring a wetland to its previous state.
Riverworks is adept at working in the wet, tricky conditions associated with wetland mitigation. This may include re-establishing the hydrology and/or vegetation to a site, which has been filled and/or converted for other uses, through draining or hydrological modification. The construction of wetland mitigation projects can be quite challenging and involve working with streams or ditches to restore hydrology. Riverworks has graded in wet, difficult soil conditions, worked off timber mats, removed fill material, and installed ditch plugs to implement successful wetland mitigation projects.
